August Mantel
 
 
This is the 'I can't believe it's already August Mantel!'  I was really enjoying the base mirror and Sunrise Ct sign so I decided to edit and add to make the mantel more beachy.  I didn't run out and get anything new with the mantel in mind this month but used what I already had.  After all, these are the lazy days of summer are they not?  Without a doubt, hydrangea says summer so I just had to give these beauties a special place to show them off.  A fresh white candle, vintage 'River Balls' from the Cape Fear River and a sprinkle of shell garland is all it took.  You can read more about these smooth 'river balls' here and by the way, visit my new blog here.  Please leave a comment.  I'd love to hear from you!
